Spicer Peak, Jackson County, Colorado
Conveniently located between Steamboat Springs and Walden, Colorado, Hunting & Fishing World, Inc. has the Danny Meyring Ranch for hunting (Unit #17 on Colorado hunting maps). The whole mountain called Spicer Peak joins the south side of Routt National Forest. This prime elk habitat has a large resident elk herd and a long history of successful hunts.

Long time outfitters Bill Elder and Mark Lloyd provide comfortable bunk houses, great food and transportation to and from the hunt sites so you can enjoy your hunt.

We have experienced elk hunting guides who are very familiar with this pristine elk habitat. We are certified in first aid and CPR and are fully insured and bonded. We've been an outfitter for 20 years in Colorado with a very high success rate. However, success always depends on the weather! Our trips are semi-guided meaning you'll be helped in the field and with your game. A semi-guided hunt includes one guide for 2 hunters. Anyone with a handicap will have a full-time guide.
