Book A Hunt
We recommend that you book early as hunts fill up
quickly!
The ranch is 12 miles around and adjoins the Routt National
Forest. It has a lot of very heavy timber, as well as a lot of openings to get good clear
shooting. It also has a very good crossing where lots of elk have been shot by sitting and
waiting for them to cross. This is know as Cardiac Draw. This is very good for anyone who
can not do a lot of heavy walking.

Our three bunk houses each sleep hunters and guides. Each
bunk house has cooking facilities, utensils, propane heat, and water. Hunters may use the
shower in the main bunk house. You bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, and towels. We
serve a large breakfast, and then get you in the hunting area before sun-up. We provide
you with a sack lunch for in the field. At the end of the day we serve you a super supper.
Since each bunkhouse has cooking facilities you can prepare snacks anytime you wish. If
you enjoy an evening by the campfire we have a very comfortable fire pit. |
Our Camp |
Our main camp area elevation is at 9,100 feet. The ranch has
a large resident herd of elk with nice bulls that winter in the canyons and meadows below.
This habitat configuration makes excellent elk hunting. We have had very successful hunts
each year since 1988.
